As a payer of high insurance premiums, you need to know your rights as a consumer.

    Yes! Some insurance companies say that you have to use their recomended collision repair facility after an accident. Did you know that this is not true? As a consumer and payer of high premiums, according to the state of Michigan, you have the right to choose the repair shop and are not required to get more than one estimate.


    Should I notify my insurance company before the repairs are started?

    Yes. Insurance policies require that you notify the company or your agent. You will at that time be asked to make a report.


    When is my deductible due?

    When the repairs are finished and you pick up your vehicle, your deductible is due to the shop. If you are concerned about the deductible, please tell us upfront. We have programs that you may qualify for an we may be able to assist you.


    Will the price be less if I don't use the insurance to fix my vehicle?

    Not necessarily. Your estimate is written to repair your vehicle in accordance to manufactureres recomendations. Further methods of repair can be explained in detail by the shops manager.


    What is the difference between the "insured" and the "claimant"?

    "Claimant" means you are claiming the accident  on someone elses insurance. The "Insured"  means that you are using your own insurance to repair your vehicle.
